Marcelo Fontana Joins Mequon Soccer Club Coaching Staff Mequon Soccer Club is very excited to announce the newest member of the Club coaching staff - Marcelo Fontana. Fontana started his illustrious professional career in 1991 with San Lorenzo of Argentina.  His remarkable career continues as a veteran star midfielder with the Milwaukee Wave.
Fontana’s coaching experiences include 5 years as the Director of the Milwaukee Wave summer camps, involvement with the Milwaukee Kickers program and 5 years as Director of Coaching and Player Development in the Nicolet and North Star programs.  Marcelo is dedicated to player development, through technique and skill advancement.  Mequon Soccer continues to uphold the philosophy of accelerating player development at all ages, by maintaining a premier level coaching staff.  Marcelo Fontana’s participation and commitment is a major upgrade and advancement in this mission.  As the newest Technical Director of Development, the Club is confident Fontana’s involvement with Mequon Soccer will have a significant and long-term impact on our players and programs.
